      DACT has the ability to check the Web for the latest version number of DACT and report any difference to the user.  This option is disabled by default but can be enabled by adding:
version_check on
to your dact.conf file ($HOME/.dact/dact.conf or /usr/local/etc/dact.conf).  DACT also has the capability to automatically upgrade itself.
